Work projects and three sick children have recently seriously distracted me from my blogging. But here it is at last, a report of our trip to Prague.

I don't really want to spoil the special memories of our wanderings with too many words. Instead, here are some photos taken with LensBaby, a present MyBaby gave to me just before the trip. Sooo sweet, both babies!

Ok, maybe some highlights:

  • Waking up every morning, realizing there was no hurry, no kids to wash, dress and feed, no need to get out of bed. Rolling over and continuing to sleep.
  • Absolutely sumptuous spa and decadent Balinese massage for two at our hotel, the Alchymist. Heaven.
  • Late evening strolls around Malá Strana's hills and alleys. So quiet, so nostalgic, so romantic.
  • Food: Cantina - best Mexican meal we've had on this side of the Atlantic. U modré kachnicky (The Blue Duckling) with it's gorgeous yet intimate atmosphere, impeccable service and succulent game entrees. Masala, very tasty Indian fare in a small, homey cellar restaurant in the Vinohrady area.
  • The cobblestone streets. Murder for my ankles (had to wear heels) but so pretty to look at. So many different patterns, real everyday art.
