September has snuck up on us and forced us to abandon the lazy days of summer. The crisp, cool mornings are a brisk reminder that it is time to get back to our exercise routines.

We're so excited about ballet!

No turning back now. On Mondays I go to circuit training. Thursday evening we all go to a family gym class, attended by both kids and their parents. Tutus are pulled on every Saturday when all three kids go to ballet. On Sundays we drive over to our local school where the whole gym is reserved for us only for two hours. To top this off, I try to go swimming a couple of times a week and John is going to make friends with the exercise bike in the upstairs living room again.

Now you probably think we're some kind of fitness fanatics. The truth is we're anything but. We just love our Ben & Jerry's, chocolate and cinnamon rolls, and rather than limit the good things in life, we prefer to try and offset them with the occasional spring to the gym.
